He said I should instead give consideration to the CT 800 series or, if I could rearrange my room to accommodate floorstanders, a pair of CM10's. Both are expensive choices and I would really prefer to audition speakers prior to making a big purchase to make sure that they would actually be a significant upgrade from my existing B&W's. I auditioned a pair of CT 700 series.
